By Dale Ratzlaff, Cultic Doctrine is a thorough study of the Seventh-day Adventist unique teaching of the 1844 cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary and the investigative judgment. It evaluates this doctrine five different ways. It documents the beginnings of the Adventist church, listing William Miller’s 15 “proofs” that Christ would come in 1843. It documents Adventist’s flip-flop teaching of the “shut door of mercy” showing that Ellen G. White endorsed this teaching through her visions. It has over 700 footnotes but is easy to read.
